About the movie: Imagine that you can only live until you are 25. Then you die. Unless you earn, steal, or inherit some extra time. The plot of the action sci-fi thriller In Time, starring Justin Timberlake (Friends with Benefits, Bad Teacher, The Social Network), is set in the near future—a time when money means absolutely nothing. People pay with time. Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) rarely has more than 24 hours on his life clock. He lives minute to minute in the impoverished Dayton zone, and only hard daily work in a factory grants him another day of life. His mother Rachel (Olivia Wilde) and many others in this ghetto face the exact same fate. Moreover, local gangs are always ready to rob anyone, even if it's just for a few hours, having no qualms about ending someone's life in the process.One day, Will helps a wealthy man named Henry (Matt Bomer) escape from one of these gangs. In return, Henry gifts Will an entire century of time and decides to end his own endless life. Will is subsequently accused of his murder and has no choice but to prove his innocence. He goes on the run to the wealthiest zone, New Greenwich, where, unlike in Dayton, no one is ever in a rush. Time is a luxury everyone here can afford, meaning they will live for hundreds or even thousands of years.But in New Greenwich, there is also someone who catches Will's eye. Sylvia (Amanda Seyfried) is the daughter of the extraordinarily rich Philippe Weis (Vincent Kartheiser). The moment the Timekeepers arrive to arrest Will, she becomes the perfect hostage.
