About the movie: Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) hated each other to death in high school, only to later become best friends at the police academy. Although they are not exactly the finest the police force has to offer, they get a chance to turn their reputation around when they are assigned to a secret police unit called Jump Street under the command of Captain Dickson (Ice Cube). Instead of guns and police badges, they are armed with backpacks so they can use their youthful appearance to go undercover among teenagers. The problem, however, is that today's youth is quite different from what it was a few years ago, and Schmidt and Jenko find that their conceptions of high school life—whether it's about sex, drugs, or rock 'n' roll—are completely useless. Above all, they discover that they still haven't dealt with a number of their own issues that they faced during adolescence, and both must confront the horror and anxiety of being forced to return to high school and once again experience all the problems they thought were long in the past.
